Functions of the Case Simulator

The case simulator allows you to simulate/recalculate your §21 data record based on specially selected cases by specifically changing case information or the grouper version. The following parameters can be adjusted and then regrouped:

  • Grouper version
  • Primary/secondary diagnosis
  • Procedure
  • Department type (HA, BA)
  • Specialist department key
  • Length of stay DRG
  • Ventilation hours

Catalogue effect: Group your data record to a customised DRG version year (e.g. 2025 after 2026).

Adjustment of case information: Adjust individual parameters by removing, adding or replacing them.
