Functions of the Potential-Calculator

On the basis of a medical procedure name (OPS), the Potential-Calculator calculates the sales and revenue potential for Germany within seconds. Optionally, the output of results can be limited to regions or individual hospital locations. If the procedure is innovative and no procedure name has yet been included in the OPS catalogue, the calculation can be based on the indication (ICD-10). For this purpose, you can choose between calculating on the basis of the main or secondary diagnosis. To calculate, the Potential-Calculator requests the planned sales price and the necessary quantity unit per case.

To refine the results, restrictions such as contraindications and planned market shares can be entered. An automatic factor default calculates the average quantity per case.
