Functions of the Reimbursement-Calculator

On the basis of a medical procedure description (OPS), the Reimbursement-Calculator evaluates the billing options for the inpatient and outpatient sectors within seconds. In addition to the DRG, the system also searches for additional fees, AOP and Hybrid-DRG. NUB templates that contain the desired coding are also output. The evaluation can also be based on the indication (ICD-10). For this purpose, you can optionally search using the main or secondary diagnosis. To calculate the costs, the reimbursement calculator also queries the relevant cost centre.

The output of the reimbursement calculator includes:

• aG-DRG together with revenues and occurrences
• Hybrid-DRG
• Additional fees
• Billable GOP figures (AOP)
